Privacy

Kymatos LLC publishes this site. It is one page plus these notices. It has no accounts, no login, no shop and no advertising, so there is very little to collect and this notice is short on purpose.

What is collected

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type into it, because that is the message. It is sent to one mailbox and read by one person. Nothing in the form is added to a marketing list and you will not receive anything you did not ask for.

The site uses two analytics tools, and one of them uses cookies. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which let it recognise a returning visit and group the pages of a single visit together.

Both record aggregate figures: how many people opened a page, roughly where in the world they were, which link brought them, which pages they read, and which links they clicked, including links out to the sites of the brands listed here. Google Analytics sends that data to Google, which processes it on our behalf under its own terms. It does not store full IP addresses. We have not enabled Google Signals or advertising personalisation, we do not use it to build audiences or to retarget anyone, and we do not combine it with any other data. Neither tool tells us who you are, and we cannot work out from either one who visited.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that switches Google Analytics off on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies for this site in your browser has the same effect here, and nothing on the page stops working if you do.

Our host, Vercel, keeps ordinary server logs including IP addresses for a short period, as every web host does, in order to serve the page and to defend against abuse.

What is not collected

The Google Analytics cookies described above are the only cookies this site sets. There is no advertising pixel, no cross-site tracker, no session recording, and no remarketing. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, and there is no category of data we hold that anyone could buy.

How long anything is kept

Messages sent through the form are kept in the mailbox for as long as they are useful to the correspondence and are deleted when they are not. Analytics figures are aggregate and are retained by Vercel and by Google under their own retention policies. The Google Analytics cookies expire on their own; the main one lasts up to two years unless you clear it sooner.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or a United States state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write to george@kymatos.com and we will answer. There is no charge and we will not ask you to justify the request.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

The businesses are separate

Ergovanta, Akrodos, and Evrata each run their own sites and publish their own privacy notices. This notice covers kymatos.com only. If you bought a product or engaged one of the businesses, that relationship is governed by that business and its own notice applies.
